This is the pinnacle open circuit technical course and removes all depth, gas, and bottle restrictions from the Technical 3 certification.  The course is taught over two days, one day of skills and one day of experience dives, and covers topics related to multi-bottle handling, cascading ratio deco, and other topics.  Upon certification students may use an unlimited number of stage and decompression bottles.

Requirements

  • Must have completed UTD Technical 3 - no equivalents
  • Must have logged at least 25 dives in the Technical 3 range

Equipment Requirements

Prior to the commencement of the course, students should consult with a UTD representative to verify equipment requirements.  All participants are responsible for providing all equipment or for making provisions to secure all necessary equipment before the start of the course.

In general, it is better for the student to learn while using their own equipment.  However, students should exercise caution before purchasing new equipment to avoid acquiring substandard or unnecessary equipment.  Please contact us prior to making any purchases.
